Our story
Founded in 1998 by Armando Bautista, a former Chicago Fire Department contractor who trained under the mentorship of a legendary HVAC elder, Lodestar HVAC Solutions began as a one-person operation. Armando Bautista’s signature technique—combining old-school craftsmanship with digital diagnostic tools—gave rise to a reputation for tackling even the most stubborn climate crises in the city’s densest neighborhoods.
